Dr. Craig Leonardi is a board-certified
dermatologist in private practice in St. Louis, MO. He is
a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at St. Louis
University. He received his MD from the University of Miami
School of Medicine and completed an internship in Pediatrics
and residency in Dermatology at University of Miami/Jackson
Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Following training, he was a faculty member
at the University of Miami and then at St. Louis University.
There he specialized in viral skin disorders and complex
manifestations of skin disease. In addition, he was the
director of the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, a reference
laboratory for dermatologists worldwide. He has published
more than 80 original papers and abstracts in peer-reviewed
journals. He received the American Academy of Dermatology
Gold Award in 1990 for original research and has been an
invited speaker at numerous dermatology societies as well
as in the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Leonardi has extensive clinical research
experience, having conducted more than 60 trials (phases
I-IV) for a wide variety of dermatologic indications. Recently,
he has concentrated on new biologic agents for treating
psoriasis and his office is currently one of the largest
psoriasis research centers in North America.

Dr. Siegfried was raised in St. Louis, graduating from
Ladue High School in 1973. She earned her Bachelor of Arts
degree from Pomona College and her Medical Doctorate from
the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed residencies
in Pediatrics and Dermatology at the University of Iowa
Hospitals, and briefly served on the faculties of the University
of Iowa and Northwestern University/Children's Memorial
Hospital. She was an Associate Professor of Dermatology
and Pediatrics, Director of Pediatric Dermatology as well
as the Clinical Trials Unit in the Department of Dermatology
at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center until November,
2001, when she joined Central Dermatology. Her clinical
interest focuses on the care of pediatric skin disease,
including development of new treatments.
Dr. Siegfried is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics,
and has served on the Executive committee of the section
on Dermatology for 5 years. She is a member of the American
Academy of Dermatology, serving on the Pediatric Task Force,
and sev-

eral Consensus Committees. She is a member of the Society
of Pediatric Dermatology, and served as the chairman of
the Committee on Certification. She is currently on the
editorial board for Pediatric Annals and Journal Watch for
Dermatology and serves on the Board of Directors for the
American Board of Dermatology. She has authored more than
75 original papers, book chapters and abstracts and in addition
to international recognition as expert in the field of Pediatric
Dermatology, she was selected as one of Woodward White's
Best Doctors in America.
Dr. Siegfried is married to Dr. Dan Hoft, M.D., Ph.D.,
an Infectious Disease specialist at Saint Louis University.
They have 3 children, Isaac, Galen and Stella.
