Dr. Craig Leonardi is a board-certified
dermatologist in private practice in St. Louis, MO. He is
a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at St. Louis
University. He received his MD from the University of Miami
School of Medicine and completed an internship in Pediatrics
and residency in Dermatology at University of Miami/Jackson
Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Following training, he was a faculty member
at the University of Miami and then at St. Louis University.
There he specialized in viral skin disorders and complex
manifestations of skin disease. In addition, he was the
director of the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, a reference
laboratory for dermatologists worldwide. He has published
more than 80 original papers and abstracts in peer-reviewed
journals. He received the American Academy of Dermatology
Gold Award in 1990 for original research and has been an
invited speaker at numerous dermatology societies as well
as in the pharmaceutical industry.
